Is the lesser of evils really good?

I have been talking with a lot of people about the upcoming presidential election. The overwhelming majority of people do not really like any of the candidates. But because the race is so "close" and "vitally important" we have to settle for the lesser of two evils. (Or in this case the lesser of three evils since no one can seem to pick between Hillary and Barack.)

What I cannot understand is why people feel compelled to choose one of three people they really don't like when there are other people running independent or with third parties that are much more qualified and intelligent. Will people continue to choose the lesser of two evils when the two majors parties have degraded to the point that one offers a declared socialist and the other a proud communist? We are nearer to that point now then I think we are willing to notice.

People need to recognize that the lesser of the evils is still evil in some manner. If you select the lesser of the evils, that will take us down the path of destruction as fast if not faster than deliberately supporting evil instead of the truth. Look at our nation now. We didn't get where we are in lack of morals in our lives, music, movies, etc, by openly supporting evil. Satan doesn't look at us and say, "This is sin!" He always gets us to compromise. This is what we are doing in our political arena. The only thing that will help America is to stop being a part of the status quo and vote for what is right even if it is not popular or likely to succeed. At least then when America is in a deplorable condition you will be able to say that it isn't your fault. Because I assure you that voting for the lesser of two evils will only slow down our inevitable destruction.
